Kite Center Sri Lanka will host kite instructor courses in June at Kappalady Beach.
Xavier Roussos will again be our IKO examiner.
ATC (Assistant Course): 11.-15. Mai 2023
1st Aid CPR: 16. Mai 2023
ITC (Instructor Course): 17.-22. Mai 2023
Plan to arrive no later than 5pm the day before your course starts.
The courses consist of both theory sessions in the class room and practical training sessions with real students.
Study material you will be given once you have enrolled for the course. You will be required to bring a laptop or a pad in order to view your workbooks.
Kite equipment for the purpose of the course will be provided by Kitecenter Sri Lanka. However for private kite sessions it is best if you bring your own gear. Alternatively we are also happy to rent out equipment to our instructor candidates at a discounted rate. (to be discussed individually).

How to get here:
Book a flight with any airline flying to Colombo international airport (CMB)
Transfer to Kitecenter Sri Lanka is either by public bus, which is very cheap - about 4 EUR and takes approximately 4hrs. Alternatively a private car of van can be arranged for you. It is more comfortable and much faster - approximately 2.5 hrs, cost is approximately 70 EUR per vehicle. So if a few people get together it is totally worth it.
